Summary
Advance Staff are currently recruiting for 7.5t Drivers, to fill a role based in Shrewsbury.
A successful candidate will hold a category C1 driving licence and have prior driving experience.
Role Responsibilities:
• Driving a 7.5t vehicle
• Loading and unloading the vehicle
• Adhering to the delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
• Daily vehicle safety checks e.G. tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports. • Interacting with dispatchers and others daily #
Driver Requirements:
• Hold a category C1 licence.
• No more than 6 points
• Up to date with the current driving laws and standards
• Previous 7.5t driving experience is required
• Comfortable with strapping and securing loads when needed, sometimes heavy goods. Benefits of the Role:
