£11.69ph - £12.00ph d.o.e Uppingham (near Corby), Immediate start, Permanent position after a successful temporary period, constant full time hours Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm Fantastic benefits once permanent.
Due to continued success and company expansion, our market leading manufacturing and distribution client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Machinist to join their site based in Uppingham, Leicestershire (near Corby):
- Working on guillotine machine, leather stamping and embossing machines, setting, operating and basic daily maintenance
- Quality checking products, trimming and snipping loose thread, material if needed
- Maintain high quality standards and output, including thorough checking of completed works
- Working to production targets
- Collecting correct raw materials from stores department
- Assisting packing team when required
- High attention to detail and working to high standards.
- General housekeeping of work area
We would expect the successful Machinist to be able to demonstrate a great eye for detail, enjoy working to targets, working as part of friendly team. You will be supported 1:1 to become familiar with the company's products, processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within.
