Summary

For the successful Quality Auditor, our client is offering:
• £28,000 to £32,000 DOE
• Monday to Thursday 8.30 am - 5 pm Friday 8.30 am - 4 pm
• permanent position

The Role - Quality Auditor:
• Assisting with 3rd party and customer audits and visits and to be able to stand in for the Technical Manager when they are not available.
• Play an integral role in the audit process ensuring non-conformances that are identified are raised to the management team. Follow up the corrective actions until they are closed out
• Draft, interpret and implement quality procedures in line with BRCGS and other customer standards. Management of document control.
• Completion of internal audits and traceability challenges according to the issued schedule.
• Assist the Technical Manager with the Supplier Approval process
• Logging and investigating complaints and responding to customers with a detailed investigation in a timely manner. Completion of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on complaints to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Manage non-conforming products, ensuring that all non-conforming product is identified, placed on hold, and recorded in the non-conforming product log. This
• Prepare reports to communicate the results of KPIs to the relevant departments.
• Managing projects given to you by your direct manager.
• Managing the water sources remotely to cover weekends as needed
What our client is looking for in a Quality Auditor;
• Previous Technical experience working in a FMCG.
• Customer-focused and solutions-driven
• Knowledge of all relevant food safety legislation, HACCP and the current BRC standard
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• IT Literate
• Strongly self-motivated
• Flexible working approach
• Demonstrates attention to detail and good observation skills
