Summary
PS Limited are looking for a reliable, professional and flexible Catering Assistant’s to work in residential care homes based in and around Oxford. We need experienced Catering Assistants who are willing to take on work on an ad hoc basis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Helping to prepare and serve meals and drinks, responding to requests for catering services to ensure service users’ needs are met and food hygiene standards are followed.
• Undertaking duties as assigned, working with service users, family’s advocates and other staff as required to ensure a high standard of service.
• Delivering services for service users’ whilst ensuring choice, privacy, dignity and independence are maintained and respected.
• Identifying and reporting any hazards and faults, making sure that equipment is kept in good working order so that a safe environment is maintained.
• Avoiding waste to help reduce costs and reporting when stores are low so that supplies can be ordered.
Shifts available:
• Week days
• Weekends
• Long days, earlies and lates

Essential:
• Level 2 Diploma in housekeeping/catering
• Minimum 1 years paid UK experience
• Enhanced DBS
• Full Right To Work in the UK
• 2 references (must cover past 3 years)
