Summary

Due to our team expanding and internal progression, we are appointing to our amazing team!

The SEND Assistant Caseworker role is primarily an administration role that is a key element within our SEND Teams. The Assistant Caseworkers work closely with our SEND Caseworkers (Level 1 and Level 2), working in genuine partnership with children, young people, families, professional agencies, and the third sector.

Our aim is to ensure that the child/young person and their family can participate as fully as possible in regard to EHC needs assessments and the review process of EHC plans.

About the role
The SEND Assistant Caseworker role ensures the smooth and efficient completion of EHC needs assessments, ensuring that children and young people receive the appropriate services and provision to meet their needs and support them in achieving the best possible education, health and care outcomes.

About you
We are looking for someone who is an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. In addition you will need to have strong verbal and written skills for communicating with a range of people and be well organised, with an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
