Summary

Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 7am - 3pm and Friday 7am - 2:30pm

Grade: Band 3, SCP 6 - 9

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £23,893 - £25,119 Per Annum

Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust, are seeking to appoint a Administration and Cover Assistant to ensure effective deployment of staffing and support the smooth running of our school office.

We have a passionate and dedicated staff team, who are committed to providing an outstanding education for the children.

Your responsibilities

Assist with operating the academy system for managing staff absence and room closures using the Cover module on our Management Information System (Arbor).

To support the Office Manager with Admissions.
To promote the ethos of the school when communicating with children, staff, parents, governors and visitors.
To provide a positive image of the school in accordance with the mission statement.
Undertake reception duties, answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries and signing visitors in and out of the premises.
Assist with pupil first aid/welfare duties, liaise with parents, staff etc.
Process orders and receipt goods on behalf of the school.
