R egional Support Manager (Qualified Nurse)

Salary: £67,000 plus a car allowance

Hours: 40 hours per week

This role requires willingness to travel including occasional weekends. This role covers the Southwest, Kent and London

We are searching for a highly dedicated and experienced Regional Support Manager who is a Qualified Nurse to join our client's management team. As a Regional Support Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective delivery of the medicine administration process in line with company policies at various elderly nursing homes. This role will involve providing support to Home Managers, planning and facilitating staff meetings, and offering assistance to staff members.

Qualifications
  • Qualified Nurse with RGN (Registered General Nurse)
  • Proven experience as a Home Manager (Nursing) and/or Peripatetic Manager within elderly nursing homes
  • Strong knowledge of overseeing the medicine administration process in a care facility for the elderly
  • Ability to ensure staff members at nursing homes attend mandatory and required training courses to maintain skills, knowledge, and competency levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and ensure effective delivery of the medicine administration process in line with company policies at elderly nursing homes
  • Supporting the homes in absence of the manager
  • Support Home Managers in planning and facilitating regular staff meetings and staff supervision
  • Establish an efficient communication system to keep staff members at nursing homes up to date with necessary information
  • Provide support and assistance to staff members and ensure areas of responsibility at nursing homes are maintained
  • Delegate duties to staff as appropriate and ensure their implementation
