Summary
As a Production Stores Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. You will be responsible for preparing kits of parts for the shop floor, receiving goods, unpacking, and replenishing stores.

Annual wage £14,625 a year

The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.

Hours Monday – Thursday 8am -4.30pm, Friday 8am-1.30pm.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a broad range of skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Stores kitting and delivery to the production line.
Printing of picking lists.
Booking of jobs onto the MRP system (IFS).
Receiving Goods Inwards, unpacking, and putting away.
Issuing of shortages.
Using a forklift to receive and put away deliveries.
Assisting with regular stock-taking as required.
Red ticket/returns processing.
Participate in training sessions and assessments as part of the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 qualification
All colleagues have a duty of following Health and Safety and adhering to any H&S policies and practices when undertaking their role.
