Wrexham University is seeking a Principal Lecturer in Engineering & Lead for Industrial Collaborative Engagement (ICE). The successful candidate will teach on our Engineering Programmes and lead the development, management, and support of industrial collaborative engagement activities at the departmental level, working closely with the PVC Partnerships. This role involves line managing engineering staff involved in industrial collaborations, building and maintaining strong networks with external organisations and professional bodies, and contributing to the University’s teaching, research, knowledge exchange, and income generation activities. The post holder will also support the Associate Deans, Dean of Faculty, and Programme Leaders in effectively developing and delivering these initiatives, ensuring that academic quality and standards, particularly in degree apprenticeships and work-based learning, are upheld and that the student experience is continuously enhanced.
