We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Analyst with expertise in Power BI, as this is a core requirement for the role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex Power BI dashboards and reports that track portfolio performance, risks, and issues. A strong understanding of Power BI’s data modelling, DAX, and visualisation capabilities is essential to provide accurate, data-driven insights that support key decision-making processes within the organisation.

In this role, you will be instrumental in building and optimising Power BI solutions that align with the organisation's needs. This includes integrating diverse datasets, identifying trends and discrepancies, and generating actionable insights through high-quality data visualisations. Demonstrable experience in developing tailored Power BI reports and ensuring their effective use across multiple portfolios is key to your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead reporting from programmes and projects and provides analysis, insight, and recommendation of decisions for improved of performance of the portfolio.
Support the PMO Service Leads to communicate and build commitment to a shared vision and sense of purpose.
Recognise and track interdependencies across the organisation’s Enterprise.
Monitor portfolio risks (threats and opportunities) and escalate as appropriate.
Manage and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Use programmatic data develop predictive analytics to optimise project performance.



Key requirements:

Power BI development experience (minimum of 1 year)
Knowledge of SharePoint lists (creation and manipulation)
General knowledge and use of MS Office package
Experience in governmental organisations (highly desirable but not essential)
