Summary

Hours: 37 hours per week, 36 weeks per annum. Salary: £20,212,36 (£17,033.77 per annum salary + £3,178.59 enhanced holiday pay) (£24,672 per annum, full time equivalent)Location: This role is based at the Hadlow Campus. Each and every staff member plays a key part in delivering the success of our learners’ experience, and we want those who join our curriculum and support teams to share our passion in achieving this.We have an opportunity at our Hadlow campus for an experienced administrator to work within the Additional Learning Support department who, ideally, will have a good level of understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and/or exam access arrangement processes. However, we welcome all applicants who have a passion in supporting young people to overcome barriers to achieve to their fullest potential and who enjoy working as part of a team.The ALS Administrator will be an integral part of a dynamic team who thrives in working under pressure and will be the initial point of contact for staff, students, external stakeholders, or customers. In this role you will be responsible for providing high quality administrative support with responsibilities for SEND and Exam Access Arrangements, such as the collation of EHCP consultations, organising annual review meetings and all administrative processes associated with applying for exam access arrangements. In addition, the role will also include general administrative duties such as data management, ordering resources, updating and monitoring of information, liaising with visiting professionals and contacting students and their families, as required. To be successful in this role you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, experienced in processing data quickly and accurately and have a methodical and organised approach to your work. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines and statutory timescales whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. This role is a term time only role, across 36 weeks per year.
