Chef’s Assistant
We have exciting opportunities for talented and motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering the very best experience to young people.
We are looking for a Chef’s Assistant to join our successful team on a permanent, term time basis.
Responsibilities
In this position you will work as a member of the catering team and report to the Sandwell Chef Manager.
The Chef’s Assistant is required to assist with all preparation of foods in readiness for food service including hospitality preparation and delivery. This also includes some cooking, management of allergies and cross contamination and assisting with the care of all kitchen equipment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in catering or hospitality alongside strong knowledge of current food & hygiene and health & safety requirements. Given the requirements of this role, we need someone who works well in a team and can demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
