The Role: The Governors of St Bonaventure’s School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking Playleader with a passion to help us drive our school towards excellence, to join our hardworking and supportive St Bon’s team. We require an energetic and driven person as follows: 12.15 to 1.15 each day: to support high quality lunchtime play 1.15 to 3.15 each day: to promote, develop and monitor operational plan 3.15 – 6.15pm to develop and lead high quality after school care and holiday provision. The successful candidate will have: A level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare/play work or equivalent (or willingness to work towards this) would be desirable but not essential A passion for encouraging development through play, and a commitment to making our after school and play scheme provisions safe and fun Positive, flexible, proactive and creative in their approach to after school activities. Develop a varied programme of activities for both after school and play scheme provision Promote good behaviour and the social and emotional development of children Champion enhanced play opportunities and experiences during lunch time What we can offer: A supportive environment.
