The role
As a Engineering Safety and Compliance Officer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the response to safety, quality and compliance deficiencies arising from audits and occurrence reports, in order to demonstrate acceptable standards and compliance within regulatory frameworks.

Day to day, you'll support the maintenance of a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment that satisfy the variety of applicable audits, as well as:
* The continuous development and improvement of policy, procedure, and practices in the maintenance environment.
* You will be responsible for the implementation of safety policies and informing human factor considerations.
* Participate in the development and delivery of initial and continuation training to staff at all levels in the department.

This role is full time and based onsite at Staverton (Gloucestershire Airport).

Essential experience of the Engineering Safety and Compliance Officer:
* Knowledge of Part-145, Part-CAMO and Part-66 regulations.

Qualifications for the Engineering Safety and Compliance Officer:
* Foundation Degree in Aerospace Engineering.
* Aerospace Apprenticeship with industry working experience, ideally holding a Part-66 AML.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS Clearance.
