THE ROLE - Quality Lead – Aviation Compliance
This is a fantastic opportunity for Quality professional at the top of their game in the aviation sector.
As a Specialist Quality Lead, you will be focused on the quality compliance related to a range of aviation standards and regulations, with a focus on Part145 (Aviation Maintenance compliance)
With your background in aviation, you’ll have excellent experience in conducting Quality Audits whilst also hosting and External Audits.
You’ll be joining a fantastic business, with outstanding facilities in a modern purpose-built facility.
DUTIES - Quality Lead – Aviation Compliance
• Act as ISM (Independent Systems Monitoring) for Part21J
• Retain knowledge with aviation regulations, including CAA EASA, FAA.
• First line leader for a team of Quality professionals across multiple locations.
• Manage the companies QMS and quality systems.
• Lead continuous improvement of Quality business systems.
• Manage portfolio of external and customer Quality approvals.
• Create and conduct internal audit plans covering approvals and certification.
• Follow-up on quality and safety actions.
• Provide training on quality procedures, standards, and aviation regulations.
BACKGROUND – Quality Lead – Aviation Compliance
• Knowledge of CAA Part 21J, Part21G and Part21J regulations.
• Interpretation of emerging regulations related to Safety Management Systems.
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001.
• Qualified Lead Auditor.
• Degree in relevant subject (Desirable).
• Ability to lead programs / projects.
