Summary

Responsible for the day to day management of the team and clinical workload within the specified clinical area, ensuring the highest quality of technical practice and patient care. Accountable for the direct delivery of radiotherapy within the specified clinical area. To implement and deliver complex radiotherapy procedures including localisation, imaging, dose calculation and treatment delivery. To undertake radiotherapy practice independently and professionally in accordance with all protocols and procedures, and with care and accuracy. To ensure workload targets are achieved with optimal use of resources. To participate in and ensure staff & student training/development takes place. Contribute to holistic patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing specialist advice and information regarding radiotherapy to patients and their carers.
