Summary
My client is looking for a Biology/Environmental Science Lecturer to work at an establishment around the Glastonbury area. This is a Part-time Temporary Position to start ASAP on an ongoing basis and it will be teaching both A-Level Biology & A-Level Environmental Science classes for 3 days per week (Tuesday, Thursday & Friday)
To be considered YOU MUST have:
• Recent experience working as a Biology/Environmental Science Lecturer within an educational setting
• A Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Experience of teaching A-Level classes
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS
• Be available to start ASAP

Job Specific Requirements
• Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
• A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum
• Experience of curriculum development
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
• Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
• Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department
• Proven organisational skills
• Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents.
