Summary

Role Overview: Randstad are looking for a works Manager to join a maintenance contractor dedicated to delivering high quality maintenance works in social housing. We're looking for an experienced Void Manager/Site Manager/Works Manager to ensure projects are executed to the highest quality. Offering Up to £55,000 + Company Car

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee detailed project plans for void maintenance works.
  • Manage multiple sites and ensuring the work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality by effectively organising and managing the site activities.
  • Understand agreed scope of works and budgets set in place to deliver the works.
  • Carry out validation surveys to scope of the works
  • Manage direct team of operatives across multiple jobs.
  • Work alongside operatives in the delivery of works to ensure that quality
    and right first-time standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Ensure materials are ordered in a timely manner to maximise productivity on site.
  • Liaising with supply chain (Sub-contractors) and arranging them to carry out works.
  • Liaise with residents and client representatives.

Experience Required:

  • SSSTS, First aid, Asbestos awareness, CSCS supervisor certification.
  • 3 years in management required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of Social Housing and works.
  • Excellent knowledge of responsive repairs/voids/planned works/project works.
  • Full UK driving licence and willing to travel.
  • Managing direct trades.
  • Material procurement.
