Deputy Service Manager – Full Time – Kenton (Newcastle)
We are looking to recruit a Deputy Service Manager to work in our Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne purpose built core and cluster development providing Independent Supported Living Services to autistic people who have complex needs. If you have experience of supporting Autistic adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health conditions this may be an exciting opportunity for you.

We’d love to hear from you if you:
 Has experience and knowledge of management systems and procedures.
 Is able to work closely with the senior team to ensure all management systems, documentation, P&P and legislation are adhered to.
 Has good time management skills and is able to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
 Understand the principles of Positive Behaviour Support and have experience of working with external multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement support plans which focus on enhancing quality of life.
 Demonstrate a positive and encouraging attitude and commitment to supporting individuals with ASD and other health related conditions.
 Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
 Be flexible when considering shift patterns which will include on call duties, evening & weekend shifts and Bank Holidays.
 Have understanding of the function of CQC and other relevant legislation e.g. Liberty Protection Safeguards, including how they influence the quality of life for people using our service.
