Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Renal Dialysis Ward Clerk to join our friendly and supportive Renal Dialysis team at Barts Health trust. The post holder will provide essential administrative and clerical support to a large multi-disciplinary team as a ward clerk on our Renal Dialysis Units, helping to ensure that patients receive excellent care from our service.

The successful applicant must be patient focused, proactive, and organised with the ability to multitask and deal with frequent disruptions in a busy environment. We are looking for a hard-working individual who demonstrates close attention to detail, is enthusiastic and is a well-motivated person to work in this busy team. They must have a positive approach to their work with good organisational and excellent communication skills, have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will be able to prioritise your workload and show an understanding of the need for confidentiality.

This will include booking transport, clinic appointments, and being first point of contact for patients getting in touch with the department. This is a fast-paced department and would suit an individual with a proactive approach. The job will involve face-to-face contact with patients, clinicians, ward nursing staff and supporting a busy ward.

The Ward Clerk Position will be based in St George’s Wellbeing Hub in Hornchurch, however staff may need to be cross site depending on the service
