TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with several Primary Schools located in North Yorkshire, helping them recruit for a variety of positions. The schools are currently searching for several Qualified Teaching Assistants and have several roles available, both full-time and part-time. They are also searching for Teaching Assistants to support with day-to-day cover, which would be suitable for anyone who is looking for a part-time, flexible role!
The successful Teaching Assistants will have experience working within both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, and will have a good understanding of the National Curriculum. The ideal applicant will hold a Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, and will be able to work closely with the Class Teachers to plan lessons and manage behaviour in the classroom throughout the day.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
• Have a good understanding of Safeguarding Policies and Procedures
• Hold a Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
• Have experience working 1:1 with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN)
