Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the acute care unit.
Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care plans.
Respond promptly to patient needs, evaluating changes in condition and providing appropriate interventions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and health regulations.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification from an accredited institution.
Current valid nursing license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
Experience in an acute care setting preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of critical patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environment while maintaining composure.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in patient care and documentation.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with nursing best practices.
