Summary

LIFE CYCLE MANAGER

Salary: £48,000 - £53,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm
Location: Cheltenham, GL51 0EX

Excellent benefits package including 2.5% Golden Hello payment on commencement of employment and a £2,000 annual retention bonus (pro-rata for part time employees), subject to Achieving and maintaining clearance requirements.

G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Life Cycle Manager on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual with excellent planning, management, and communication skills with a strong awareness of the market environment. A solid understanding of energy and environmental practices and with exceptional interpersonal skills, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of capital replacement and lifecycle activities outlined in the Forward Maintenance Plan (FMP).

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Technical Services Manager to develop and manage the annual Forward Maintenance Plan (FMP) and budget, ensuring delivery within budget using internal and subcontractor resources.
Support and oversee Lifecycle Works Supervisors, securing funding and ensuring value for money (VFM) with stakeholders and contractors.
Create and manage Lifecycle Work Packages, ensuring specifications meet requirements and works are costed and delivered effectively.
Ensure all works minimize energy and environmental impact, following industry best practices.
Track and manage FMP activities, budgets, and records, conducting periodic inspections to ensure safe and compliant delivery.
Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, addressing deviations, and reviewing priorities to align with infrastructure needs.
Oversee handover of completed works to operational teams and maintain strong collaboration across departments.

The Ideal Candidate:
Essential
Building Services degree or equivalent experience H&S qualification.
Experience of secure and critical environments.
Experience of operating within a PPP/PFI.
Experience in engaging and managing subcontractors.
