Summary
Starrycare is seeking a dedicated Further Education (FE) Teacher with expertise in supporting sensory learners and students with SEND. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering personalized learning pathways that help students develop communication, interaction skills, and self-advocacy.
Responsibilities:
Teach small groups of sensory learners with high levels of support.
Collaborate with teachers, tutors, therapists, and support workers.
Integrate therapies (physio, hydro, speech & language) into education plans.
Promote vocational learning, confidence, and resilience in young adults.
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience with SEND, particularly sensory learners.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
