Summary
This specialist manufacturing company provides truly innovate products and are experiencing huge growth, not only in the UK but also across the World. They are looking to add a Maintenance Assistant to their team to work with their UK customers. Theres a salary of up to £28,000 and benefits include a company vehicle, bonus, tablet, laptop, mobile, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking and a pension.
What will you be doing as a Maintenance Assistant:
The role will be a combination of company based work along with regular offsite visits to customers across the UK. Duties will include:
- Visiting customer sites around the UK as required to carry out basic upkeep and general installation work
- Carrying out customer site surveys and general maintenance work
- Carrying out customer training on products
- Carrying out health checks on equipment and reporting to customers and head office
- Advising and suggesting options for other suitable products to the customer to create more business opportunities
- Passing on potential business leads to the sales team
- Completing forms and paperwork as required
- As well as working at customer sites, you will also work in the factory/assembly side of the companys head office
- Training in products will be provided
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar role such as Maintenance Assistant, Service Engineer, Facilities Assistant, Installation Engineer, Fitter or Maintenance Engineer, possibly with experience in AV, electrical, alarms or other technology sector although this is not essential
- Strong all round DIY skills
- Full current driving licence
- Able to work in a role that involves regular travel and overnight stays
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Confident and friendly character and happy to suggest new options to customers
