Job Description

Nursery Practitioner - Level 3

Hourly Rate: £12.50

Full-Time Hours

As a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3), you will be responsible for creating a stimulating, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere tailored to different age groups and supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of the children. This purposefully designed indoor and outdoor spaces offer abundant opportunities for growth, learning, and exploration.

Qualifications
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above qualification, demonstrating a strong understanding of child development, early years curriculum, and best practices in childcare.
  • Previous experience in a Nursery Practitioner role, showcasing a high level of competence, dedication, and passion for providing high-quality care, learning experiences, and support to young children.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a diverse range of stimulating and age-appropriate activities to support the holistic development of children, including sensory exploration, creative arts, physical play, and early literacy and numeracy experiences.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for different age groups, utilizing purposefully designed indoor and outdoor areas to encourage exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning through play.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and team members to ensure the well-being, development, and progress of the children. Use observation, assessment, and documentation to inform and adapt future activities and learning experiences.
