Summary
The post holder will work collaboratively across the NHS England matrix, including integrating the National Directors portfolio: They will lead on driving up standards and ensure high quality service provision is available for all victims and survivors of sexual assault and abuse To act as a champion for patients and their interests and involve the public and patients in the policy development and decision-making of NHS England. To embed patient and public involvement within NHS England at all levels of decision making and ensure lived experience is at the heart of service development. Working within the overall strategic objectives, devise, implement and monitor the strategy. Evaluate, interpret, and locally implement best practice. Personally lead, support, and contribute to formal negotiations with senior level internal and external stakeholders, providing a high level of negotiating expertise to secure the most advantageous arrangements. Advise on innovative opportunities and support regions in their strategies and programmes to maximise service benefits. To identify and assess opportunities for new services and threats to existing services and market developments.
