We're looking for a Sustainability Delivery Officer to join Co-op's Property team. In this role, we'll look to you to support compliance and environmental risk management across our Property function. It's a busy job, and a varied one too - you'll support project management activities across a range of Property sustainability projects. You'll manage sustainability data; organising, analysing, critiquing, and reporting on it so that we can spot opportunities to make things better. It's a great chance for you to develop your skills in a high-profile area of our Co-op, making a difference for our communities, customers, and member-owners.
What you'll do
- Provide Project Management support across Property Environmental Sustainability projects, such as Net Zero Transmission, Waste, Water, Biodiversity and Circular Economy
- Track progress, assurance, actions, and forward look opportunities related to Property environmental compliance and risk
- Support administration of technical working groups including minutes, actions, and reporting
- Act as the technical leader on the analysis, interpretation, and challenge of large amounts of complex environmental data
- Help to design and deliver our Sustainability Learning and Development programme
- Support and inspire senior partners across Property functions
This role would suit people who have
- Experience in the sustainability sector, with a recognised professional qualification in environmental management/sustainability
- Strong analytical skills: you're confident in working with and manipulating large sets of data to draw out insight and make decisions
- An understanding of data quality practices and controls implementation
- The ability to use data technologies and data modelling
- Strong problem solving, organisation, decision making skills
