Job Description:
As the Business Development Manager at Clyde Fasteners Ltd, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and increasing market share. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with key clients, and developing strategic partnerships. Your role will involve market research, client acquisition, and negotiating contracts to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth in line with company goals.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging markets, and customer needs.
• Present product solutions and technical expertise to potential clients.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, and product development to align business strategies.
• Monitor market competition and stay updated on industry trends.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis.
• Provide regular reporting on sales performance and business development activities.
• Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role, ideally within the industrial fasteners market.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of the industrial fasteners market and customer needs is a plus.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Whilst a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, we recognise the depth of experience as equally valuable.
