Summary

Dynamic and leading law firm based in the beautiful county of Somerset are looking for an experienced Childcare Law Solicitor. This is a permanent full-time role with the opportunity for hybrid working for the right candidate. You will be dealing with Care Proceedings and must have a solid experience of legal aid childcare law matters. The firm are expanding and are looking for top-tier, talented individuals who can bring something special to the firm.

Role Involves:
·Handling your own caseload of publicly funded childcare law matters including care proceedings
·Providing supervision and guidance to junior members of the team
·Conducting client meetings and regularly liaising with clients and relevant parties to keep everyone updated
·Full case preparation
·Advocacy in the County and Family Proceedings Court

Required skills:
·Ideally at least 2 years relevant childcare law experience including advocacy
·Clean, valid practising certificate
·Proven expertise in dealing with care proceedings and publicly funded childcare matters
·Solid knowledge of legal aid and SRA regulations
·Ideally Children's Panel Membership
·Excellent communication and client care skills with the ability to deal with vulnerable individuals
·Demonstrable team working skills
·Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
