Summary

We are seeking a motivated person to work as a Cleansing Operative on the frontline providing a safe and clean environment for the residents within the Basingstoke and Deane Borough. It is essential applicants have a full car driving licence Class B allowing you to drive up to a 3.5 tonne vehicle. Successful candidates will have opportunities to learn and develop new skills with a wide range of street cleaning equipment.

You will be reliable, have a 'can do' attitude and a commitment to working safely. You’ll need to be highly motivated with attention to detail as you may be working alone or as part of a team. It is important you are organised and able to take direction whilst having a proactive and flexible approach to work.

Key Requirements

Operate equipment in accordance with experience and training.
Able to carry out physically demanding duties.
Able to work safely within guidance and legislation.
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
Ability to be flexible working on different tasks in wider areas.
You will work out of our Wade Road depot.
