Your role:
Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real difference on-site every day? We're seeking a dedicated and hardworking Site Labourer to join our client's team. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be a key player in the successful completion of our construction projects.
You will be working on a large energy restructuring project for a hospital in Nottingham, ensuring that the project meets time, and quality goals while maintaining HSSE as a priority. The Site Labourer will liaise with the project Manager/team to allow for a smooth progression of the project. They must follow the processes set out within the B2B Construction Team and the wider B2B business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the Site Running Smoothly: Ensure the site is clean, organized, and meets all housekeeping standards, creating a safe and efficient work environment.
- Material Movement: Play a crucial role in moving materials around the site and within the hospital, ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time.
- Safety First: Help identify and mitigate health and safety risks, ensuring a secure work environment for everyone on site. Lead by example and promote a safety-first mindset among your teammates.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with contractors and client representatives to understand their needs, assist in resolving any issues, and keep them informed of progress on-site.
Your Qualifications:
Essential:
- Hands-on experience in construction site work, with a solid understanding of construction activities.
- A valid CSCS card and relevant site experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work confidently and effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to learning from experience.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office tools.
- Willingness to travel or be based locally in Nottingham.
- A full, valid driving license.
Desirable:
- Any Health & Safety training.
- A forklift license.
