Summary

The aim of the job is to provide assistance required by the employer, a disabled woman

Shift Pattern: You will be required to work a minimum of 17 hours per week 5 days out of 7 Monday to Sunday.

Monday 10am until 2pm
Tuesday 10am until 3pm or 12 noon until 6pm
Wednesday 10am until 2pm
Friday 10am until 2pm
Saturday 3pm until 10 30pm
Sunday 12 noon until 5pm

These hours and days may vary slightly from week to week depending on what appointments and activities I want to participate in.

I am looking for a reliable and trustworthy person able to take direct instruction is required to assist with all aspects of:

Assisting to access activities in the community
Personal Care
Assisting with preparing meals
Moving and assisting
Assisting with appointments
Assisting with taken pets to the vet
Assisting with general housework including ironing, mopping floors, hoovering, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, emptying bins

Any other duties that are relevant and pertinent to the role of carer / personal assistant.

The successful applicant should have a good history and experience of providing care and support with experience of working with older people with disabilities and mental health. The employer requires care in many aspects of daily life therefore flexibility is required.

SVQ Level 2 or above in health and social care if possible but not required
You must be able to work with a team, however support will mostly on a one-to-one basis.

As driving will be required as part of this role, the successful applicant should have a full driving license.

Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme.
