Summary
An Experienced IT Service Manager is needed to develop and execute a suitable Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework to support a multi-vendor environment.
This role involves engaging and influencing stakeholders from various business areas to define and clearly communicate services, applications, interfaces, and multiple layers of IT to meet future business requirements.
The responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining SIAM policies, processes, and procedures. Strong leadership skills are essential to ensure that outcomes align with enterprise needs, validating solutions through established governance.
It is crucial to identify, analyse, and effectively manage interdependencies for smooth operations, as well as to identify potential risks and escalate them appropriately for effective mitigation. Providing sound advice to support procurement activities and engaging with potential service providers is also part of the role.
Collaborating with user researchers, representing users internally, and distinguishing between user needs and desires are key aspects. Promoting user research across all user segments, prioritizing understanding user stories, and guiding others in this process are essential. Offering recommendations, advocating best practices, leading a team of experts to enhance services, and assisting in evaluating requirements for implementing changes by establishing policies and standards are critical responsibilities. Understanding business IT platforms, interfaces, and processes to support all service lines and collaborating with the Corporate Services Modernisation Delivery Partner are also part of the role.
