In this role, you will become part of our dedicated Health and Safety team, supporting a diverse range of colleagues across Arts, Music and Culture, Museums, Communities, Sport and Libraries. About the Role As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in developing, promoting, and implementing the health and safety management framework across the organisation. This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires knowledge, creativity, and strong attention to detail. What you’ll do: • Health and Safety Management Framework: Collaborating to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, developing and auditing policies, and analysing organisational trends to drive continuous improvement. • Risk Assessment and Management: Assisting with risk assessments and ensuring safety standards are met across projects and venues. • Project Coordination: Working with project teams to advise on health and safety requirements. • Training and Education: Fostering a culture of safety, promoting awareness, and staying up to date with legislative changes. • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising with enforcement agencies, statutory bodies, and trade union safety representatives to ensure a collaborative approach to health and safety. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required: • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate) and we will provide you with the opportunity to further develop your expertise. • Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practices. • Previous experience in delivering health and safety within a working environment.
