Summary

We have an immediate need for Contract Paralegals with DSAR experience supporting one of our clients in the telecom sector with data access requests for anticipated initial 3 - 6 period.

Please note that this role will require you to work via an umbrella company and is on a day rate basis. The role is fully remote and we supply equipment. We are working on a quick turnaround so we need you to be immediately available or very short notice period, you will not be considered if you have a long notice period to serve.

Role and key Responsibilities

As a Paralegal, you will provide support to the team on day to day case work, including the following tasks:

  • Undertake a first level review of Data Subject Access Requests, including redactions, with attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
  • Using e-disclosure platforms such as Relativity to conduct reviews.
  • Being a team player, with the ability to work on your own initiative, but as part of the team to ensure that the team’s time is being effectively managed to meet deadlines of the existing workload.
  • Reporting into management regularly on the progression of on-going work.
  • Managing your financial outputs carefully, ensuring changes to time/cost/quality to the project are properly considered and managed.

  • Paralegal experience gained within a document review role.
  • Proven technical ability to identify privilege.
  • Proven technical ability to work on a data subject access request.
  • Experience of using Document Review Platforms such as Relativity.
  • The ability to build and maintain professional relationship with colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and self-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
  • Accuracy, good organisational skills and flexibility.
