Summary

Care Assistant
Part time - 15 hours per week 12.30pm – 3.30pm
Term time only
Fixed term: - linked to funding for a named child
Grade C points 5-6 (£23,500-£23,893 FTE per annum)
£ 8,194 actual salary per annum
William Booth Primary & Nursery School is seeking to appoint a Care Assistant to support a named child with their day to day personal care needs and contribute to the management of pupil behaviour by encouraging positive behaviour in the classroom
This post is fixed term until the named child leaves school.
We warmly welcome applications from motivated, nurturing individuals to join our dedicated and highly effective team from 4th November 2024. The post will provide one to one support for a named child with their day to day personal care needs.
You will:
have the patience to provide 1 to 1 support to children with complex needs
be enthusiastic, energetic and committed to supporting pupils with their physical, emotional and social development
have high expectations of pupils’ achievements and a commitment to excellent standards;
work well as part of a team
be literate and numerate;
have excellent communication skills with children and adults
