The Role

Job Title: Support Worker

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

We are looking for a Support Worker who is committed to improving the lives of people using our services by providing accurate information and advice to the people we support, on a wide range of issues including housing, homelessness, health, welfare, education, employment and training with the ultimate aim of preventing homelessness, where possible and ensuring access to accommodation and opportunities.

The successful candidate will fully participate in the efficient, effective and sensitive provision of a high-quality advisory service to individuals and other agencies and to work in the community meeting the needs of the individuals.

You will be provided with full training but must be friendly, proactive, positive, approachable and non-judgemental. You will also need to have the ability to make on the spot decisions and be ready to sometimes deal with challenging situations.
