Summary


The post holder will be supported to develop the skills to work effectively in this role using a competency-based approach.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, able to adapt their communication style to patients with a variety of needs, including cognitive difficulties, and be able to work well in a team. Basic IT skills are essential as this role does involve some office-based duties as well as keeping electronic records.

An understanding of the role of Physiotherapy would be beneficial.

You will be responsible for following treatment plans to deliver exercise and mobility programmes, and personal and domestic activities of daily living practice. There is a requirement to undertake moving and handling of patients on a regular basis.

The post involves participation in the weekend rota to manage Orthopaedic patients, where you will work alongside Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy colleagues.
