I'm in need of two flexible, creative and calm Personal Assistants (to work together
or with myself) for my 16-year-old son, primarily to accompany him out and about,
supporting him in his preferred activities. He loves swimming and long walks in the
countryside and shopping trips. He communicates basic needs with few words, is
sociable and friendly, yet occasionally faces challenges that he's eager to

The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely
vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission.
Duties include:
Eating and drinking assistance

Other relevant duties as required

Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
At least 3 years working with special need children / adults
Experienced in managing challenging behaviours if they arise (team teach
trained /positive handling training is a requirement)
Face coverings is a requirement at all times the PA is helping the child.
PA to notify parents if they have any Flu symptoms /cold/ throat infections or
any infection transmitted through airborne exposure.
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working
hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
