Summary


You will be based in the Manchester Centre of Clinical Neurosciences at Salford Royal Hospital. The Manchester Centre of Clinical Neurosciences serves a large population and has a full complement of neurological subspecialties encompassing; Stroke, Cognitive function, Neuromuscular, Epilepsy, Neuroimmunology and Movement Disorders.

You will be fully registered medical practitioners and hold a current GMC licence to practice.



The post benefits from the clinical supervision, educational supervision and in-house educational programme opportunities given to our training grade medical posts at ST grade level. Support will be available to access e-portfolio and leave for certain approved educational activity / courses as deemed appropriate for the applicant’s level of training and experience.

The Senior Clinical Fellow will be expected to work at a “middle grade” level and will have responsibilities to the acute neurology unit, liaison neurology service and the neurology outpatient clinics (potentially at a nearby district general hospital where SCO provide the neurology service) on a rotational basis.
