Teaching Personnel are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a well-established OFSTED 'Outstanding' specialist school committed to providing tailored education and support for children aged 11-19 with Autism and ADHD. Our team is dedicated to helping students develop essential life skills, both academically and socially, through personalized learning programs.

Role Overview
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide individual and small group support for students with Autism and ADHD. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to gain hands-on experience in special education and make a lasting impact in the field.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Providing one-on-one support to students with specific learning needs
- Promoting positive behavior and helping students develop social and communication skills
- Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
- Supporting students during sensory breaks and calming strategies

What We Are Looking For
- A recent graduate (education, psychology, or related field preferred)
- A passion for working with children with Autism and ADHD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students
- Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team
- Experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided
- A DBS on the Update Service or Willingless to apply for one
