JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Property Solicitor who has a background working on Commercial, Residential and Investment Property Portfolios.

Working as a Property Solicitor you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, which includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and other legal documents. You will provide expert legal advice to clients on property transactions and related issues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. As the Property Solicitor you will conduct thorough due diligence, identifying potential risks, and advising clients on mitigation strategies.

You will also play a key role in liaising with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions. This includes representing clients in negotiations and dispute resolutions, ensuring their interests are protected at all times. Your ability to build and maintain strong client relationships will be crucial to your success in this role.

DUTIES

Your duties as Property Solicitor include:

• Managing a Diverse Caseload: Handle a variety of property matters, including commercial, residential, and investment properties. This involves prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring all legal requirements are met

• Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents: Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents. Ensure all documents are accurate, comprehensive, and comply with current laws and regulations

• Providing Expert Legal Advice: Offer clients clear, concise, and practical legal advice on property transactions and related issues. This includes advising on potential risks and recommending strategies to mitigate them

• Conducting Due Diligence: Perform thorough due diligence on property transactions, including title searches, reviewing planning permissions, and identifying any legal issues that may affect the transaction

• Ensuring Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in property law and advise clients accordingly

• Liaising with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction

• Representing Clients: Represent clients in negotiations and dispute resolutions. Advocate for their interests and strive to achieve favourable outcomes in all dealings

• Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions to meet their objectives


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in property law

• Extensive experience in commercial, residential, and investment property transactions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
