Summary
North Downs are offering up an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our teaching support staff team. This is a part-time position, in Key Stage 2 and for this academic year based at our Brockham site. The role will be worked 8:30am to 3:30pm Wednesday and Friday only and will include the lunchtime supervisor role . Furthermore you will be expected to attend 3 INSET days during the year as part of your professional development.We are a large, caring and dynamic three site primary school with very friendly pupils and staff and we are keen to welcome a new member of the team. Could this be you?The successful candidate will have a flexible approach and complement the professional work of the teachers by taking responsibility for delivering agreed learning activities. Applicants are required to demonstrate:
• excellent communication skills – verbal and written (GCSEs - English & Maths at Grade C or above)
• a ‘can do’ attitude and be passionate and committed to the wellbeing of our pupils
• the ability to work using their initiative and often under pressure
• the ability to form excellent professional relationships with all stakeholders
• the use of initiative and be flexible to meet the needs of the school
