Summary
Technical Lead for AI-Powered Book Creation Platform Watford £80k-£120k(flexible)
My client are expanding their services by developing an innovative, AI-powered online editor that allows
customers to create books from scratch. This platform will run both on the web and as a native
app on Apple hardware, leveraging Apple's AI capabilities to provide an intuitive and seamless
user experience.
They are seeking an experienced **Technical Lead/Project Manager** to spearhead the
development of their new AI-enhanced book creation platform. The ideal candidate will have a
strong background in software development and project management, with expertise in AI
technologies and native Apple application development. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to
deliver a cutting-edge platform that integrates AI assistance throughout the book creation
process.
Experience/Skills
**Minimum of 5 years of experience** in project management and technical leadership roles.
- Proven track record in leading the development of complex software projects from conception
to launch.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Experience with frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Strong knowledge of native Apple development using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Familiarity with Apple's AI frameworks, including Core ML and Create ML.
- Understanding of AI models such as GPT-4 for natural language processing tasks.
- Experience with backend development, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
Project Management Skills
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications(not essential)
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Certified Scrum Master.
- Experience in developing AI-driven applications or platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and encryption technologies.
