About the role
The role will involve supporting the Head Chef aswell as kitchen assistant duties
To supervise the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef Manager
To prepare and cook food for presentation to the service users
To assist the Head Chef in the planning of menus to achieve and maintain budgeted food cost.
To carry out stocktaking and food rotation procedures under the instruction of the Head Chef
To comply with statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at Work.
There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
