Summary

CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Loading Bay / Post Room Officer. You will need to maintain lean processes for the delivery of a sleek postal service and managing the customers operational expectations. Outside of the day-today function we are looking for someone with the vision and passion to develop the provision and look at existing processes with a view to identifying business improvement techniques.
The ideal candidate will need to have experience in a busy post room environment allowing the opportunity to develop their career in a corporate environment. This building is an impressive office-led development in the City of London. We are looking for someone who will ensure the delivery of world-class customer centric services which offer value for money and continuously enhance the client and visitor experience within a high-rise building.??
Information:

Position: Loading Bay / Post Room / Logistics Officer
Location: Central London (EC3)
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: 60 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday – 07:00 to 19:00

Job Requirements:

SIA Licence Required
Experience in working within a volume fast passed post room/loading bay/logistics environment.
Must have good command of English Language
Excellent communication both written & verbal
Exceptional customer service skills at all times
You will be used to problem solving, thinking on your feet and being able to resolve queries quickly and efficiently.
You will be used to working to tight deadlines, with the ability to prioritise your workload.
This position involves patrolling throughout the shift so must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.
Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people.
Basic IT skills – Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Email and Web.
Knowledge of UK & international mailing arrangements is desirable but not essential.
Customer service and complaint handling experience.
Comfortable working in a team.
All roles will be expected to undertake manual handling duties within their physical capabilities.
Full, clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties.
Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested.

Job Responsibilities:

Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality customer service to both our customers and service users.

The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative.
To have a smart appearance befitting the company.
Identifying and co-ordinating training for staff.
Possess extensive knowledge of courier and postal policies and contracts.
Logging and reporting any courier/postal issues.
Liaising with the Post Room Supervisor to report any issues, maintain efficiency and budgets.
Maintaining high levels of customer service.
Extensive stock control.
To undertake such other duties, training and or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility to these positions.
Permit Management for contractors to issue keys and access cards.
Occupier contractor coordinator.
Be professional at all times, proactively represent the company on site promoting excellent customer service.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
Deal with enquiries from the customers, both face to face and on the telephone.
File and retrieve documents, within an established filing system.
Book and receipt of courier items.
Process of archive files and tracking signature movements using the on-site computer systems.
This is a customer facing role – Able to conduct yourself in a professional and positive manner in the workplace, always ready and happy to assist customers and strive to exceed their expectations.
