Summary
Mechanical Fitters required for temporary-permanent positions
Using prefabricated components, you will be in responsible for assembling and testing specialised large-scale Marine Handling Equipment made goods.
The successful candidate must possess a solid foundation in mechanics and hydraulics.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for the assembly of Mechanical / Hydraulic systems
- Identify assembly faults and the undertaking the appropriate actions to rectify
- Report to Manufacturing Charge Hand and keep informed with the build progress
Candidate Profile
- It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have a strong multi skilled background within Mechanical / Hydraulics, ideally from a Time served apprenticeship.
- Ability to fault find mechanical and or hydraulic faults
- Fully conversant with complex mechanical drawings, including hydraulic schematic
- Flexible attitude
- Able to use own initiative
- Excellent problem solving
- Able to work and remain calm under pressure
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm, Fri 7am-11am
