We're offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated farm vet to join an established practice in Staffordshire. We're seeking a dedicated dairy vet who is ready for the next step in their career and thrives on new challenges. You'll be joining a team of farm vets, ATTs, and lay staff who work together to enhance and expand the services provided to a large base of loyal farmers.
Your role will involve providing a range of services to clients, including routine herd fertility visits with lay staff to record data, bull fertility testing, TB testing, herd health planning, 24-hour emergency care, disease outbreak investigation, and herd performance analysis. Additionally, they have a robust beef client base and an active sheep flock health club. Occasionally, they also treat camelids, goats, and pigs, with the option to expand this caseload if it aligns with your interests.
Role:
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE
- 40 hours per week - over 5 days
- 1:5 weekend rota
- 1:5 weeknights on call (time off in lieu)
