A rare opportunity is available for a Graduate Speech and Language Assistant in a popular school located in Enfield, North London
• Graduate Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
• Full-time, long-term position starting immediately
• Outstanding Secondary school located in Enfield, North London
• SALT, Psychology or Linguistics degree desirable
• Must have 2:1 minimum degree
• Earn up to £600 per week until July 2025
• Ongoing training and support
• Experienced SENCO as a mentor
• Car Parking available
• Easily commutable from most parts of London
The school are ideally looking for a Speech and Language graduate or a graduate with an exceptional understanding of the mechanics of language and linguistics. This Speech and Language Teaching Assistant post presents a perfect opportunity for the selected applicant to hone their skills in working with pupils in language building and add to their professional Speech and Language portfolio.
You will be working closely with the SENCO, liaising with them regarding the children’s needs and participation within therapy, following the Codes of Practice of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
As a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, you will promote positivity into all activities, encouraging and supporting all children to engage.
